Hi, we’re Dick and Sue, a couple who have beaten the odds and been happily married for over 40 years – which equates to a six-pack of wonderful grandchildren! Very early in our marriage we caught the sailing bug starting with a Tanzer 16, then on to a MacGregor 22 followed by an O’Day 25. After our fill of lake sailing it was off to the Caribbean for over 20 bareboat charters since 1983. In the last 10 years most of our sailing has been with close friends Pat and Teri on their Beneteau Oceanis 53. We’ve also enjoyed bluewater experiences with friends in Tonga, The Sea of Cortez, British Columbia, Mexico and the Bahamas.
Retirement has now afforded us the opportunity to take another step – expand our sandbox and explore new horizons on an Oyster 575 – we’re looking forward to the ride.
