While the memories of Mallorca are still looming large, Spirit is now playing in the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea, to the east of both Sardinia and Corsica. We haven’t had a post in a few weeks as we’ve taken a short break to return home, regroup, and get ready for another ride on Delta – this time to Rome, and then on to Sardinia where we’ll board Spirit at the small port of Portisco. We’ll be spending a month exploring new anchorages, villages and beaches – more photos, more posts. In the meantime, our close friends, and “living the dream” investors, Pat and Teri are onboard with friends which will give us a sneak preview of what to expect.
Several people have asked how to track the whereabouts of Spirit – there are two ways. The first is to go to our website www.theyachtspirit.com and click on “Satellite Tracker” on the right hand side of the home page. The second way is to go directly to the tracker at http://my.yb.tl/sailingyachtspirit/. Once on the tracker you can use the drop down menu on the top left to see where Spirit has been and where it is now – from Ipswich England, to the transit to Mallorca and on to Sardinia.
We hope everyone is enjoying their summer as much as we are, and look forward to sharing more adventures in the weeks and months to come.
